SHORT BIO ORGANIZATION

UPA is a professional organization that gathers, represents and defends the interests of farmers in Spain. UPA is the umbrella organization of the majority of groups in agriculture: family farms whose owners are small and medium farmers.

UPA aims to defend farmers’ interest in both Spain and the EU. As a professional organization its main objectives are to provide assistance to its members with CAP application, legislation and agricultural issues. Our organization is made up by more than 80.000 members in Spain.
UPA has carried out different projects within the LIFE programmes and the Spanish ministry for agriculture and environment.

Seta Relation

UPA is a professional organization that represents the interests of family farmers, who are aware that training and information are essential in an increasingly competitive sector. In this sense, UPA works to transfer the needs of its affiliates, and to let them know, in turn, the innovations and advances that are produced.
