The 5th project meeting of INNOSETA took place on the 29th of April, 2020.
This date was from the first place reserved for the 1st Transnational Workshop of the project in Barcelona, Spain. However, the sudden and unfortunate circumstances that the COVID-19 pandemic brought, forced INNOSETA consortium to postpone the transnational workshop, along with several other project activities, and pushed project partners to find alternatives for an emergency project meeting to deal with the unforeseen challenge. Therefore, the 5th project meeting was held in an on-line form and, during the day, work package leaders presented the project’s latest accomplishments, future tasks and their strategies for dealing with the COVID-19 related barriers and drawbacks.
During the 5th INNOSETA project meeting, it was decided by project partners to request a 6-month postponement of the INNOSETA project from the European Commission. This request was later accepted, and now, the project coordinator, Prof. Emilio Gil, along with all project partners are working closely towards the successful fulfillment of all INNOSETA objectives in favor of a better, more sustainable and attractive agricultural sector.
INNOSETA is moving on! Stay tuned!
